Timbales, which descend from small timpanis and feature most heavily in Caribbean music, have a highly distinct sound and timbre. The sharp sound will cut through the noise of a rather large band without issue. Meinl offers a number of different models, amongst which we have the chrome-plated Headliner HT1314CH timbales, a set of 13 and 14-inch timbales.
